I was skeptical about HOKA in a race shoe but the Rocket X 2 won me over. Carbon plate + PEBA foam delivers serious propulsion. Less aggressive geometry than Vaporfly makes it more accessible for sub-3 marathon runners. Ran a half PB on these. Solid choice.
